Workspaces in Sparrow
Sparrow allows for efficient organization of API requests, collections, and environments through the use of Workspaces. These workspaces help streamline workflows and support both individual and team-based collaboration.

Create New Workspace from Main Tab
- Adding a Workspace: To start a new workspace within your hub, select the ‘+ New Workspace’ button.
Navigating Workspaces from Top Bar

Viewing Recent Workspaces: The dropdown menu also displays your five most recent workspaces, making it easy to switch between your current projects without navigating away from your current page.

Navigating From Sidebar: Once you click on the workspaca section from the sidebar, the most recent workspace will visible. You can also switch the workspace from the home section by selecting the workspace.
Converting a Workspace from Private to Public
After creating a workspace, the following steps can be taken to convert it from private to public:
Access the Workspace About Page
Upon creation, the application redirects to the workspace About page, where basic details can be reviewed and modified.
Enable Public Access
- An option is available to switch the workspace from private to public
- Enabling this setting grants view-only access to all Sparrow platform members
- Before finalizing the change, agreeing to the platform’s Terms and Conditions is required.
Visibility and Tag Update
- The workspace status tag automatically updates from Private to Public
- Once public, the workspace becomes visible in the Marketplace section, accessible from the main navigation menu
Invite Members to a Workspace
- Open Workspace: Navigate to the specific workspace where you want to add members.
- Send Invites: Use the ‘Invite collaborators’ button within the workspace settings to add members by entering their email addresses and assigning appropriate roles.
Delete Workspace
- Select Workspace: From your hub's workspace list, choose the workspace you wish to delete.
- Initiate Deletion: Use the ‘Delete Workspace’ option from the three dots menu.
- Confirm Deletion: Enter the name of the workspace to confirm and finalize its removal.
Change Access to Workspace
Adjust the roles and permissions of members within specific workspaces to ensure appropriate access levels are maintained.
Remove Access to Workspace
- Member Selection: In the workspace’s member list, select the member you wish to remove.
- Remove Access: Click ‘Remove’ next to their name and confirm the action to revoke their access to the workspace.
