Overview

What is Sparrow Admin Panel?

The Sparrow Admin Panel provides a centralized interface for managing, monitoring, and organizing all your Sparrow Hubs, Workspaces, and Contributors. This dashboard is essential for administrators to keep track of testing environments, assign roles, and manage resources efficiently. It also serves as the central control center for managing your Sparrow organization. It provides administrators with tools to efficiently oversee and configure organizational settings.

Key Capabilities

As an admin, you can:

  • Monitor and manage all your hubs: Gain visibility into all connected hubs and ensure smooth operations.
  • Add and manage users: Invite new users, assign roles, and manage existing user accounts.
  • Control access rights and permissions: Define user roles and set granular permissions for secure access.
  • Manage billing and subscriptions: View and update subscription plans, handle invoices, and manage payment details.
  • Track activity and usage: Monitor system activity, usage patterns, and generate reports for auditing.

Sections Of Admin panel

The Admin Panel consists of the following main sections:

Hubs

The Hubs section is where you manage all the work, known as Sparrow Hubs. A Hub is the top-level organizational unit within Sparrow. Think of it as a container that holds related workspaces, collections, environments, and team members. Hubs help segment work by client, department, project, or organization. They provide logical separation between projects or teams and allow for secure and scalable collaboration.

Users

The Users section in Sparrow Admin is the central control panel for managing platform access across all "Hubs." It features a dashboard for high-level analytics, showing total users and role-based growth trends over time. Administrators can use the Recent Activity log for an audit trail of user actions. The system also provides a comprehensive Users list to search, filter, view detailed user profiles, and invite new collaborators for effective team membership management.

Billing

The Billing section in Sparrow Admin is a centralized tool for users to efficiently handle their subscription and payment details. It is organized into three main tabs: the Overview displays the current plan, pricing, and allows users to upgrade or seek billing support; the Payment Information tab enables the secure addition and management of payment methods for continuous service; and the Invoices tab provides access to view and download historical billing documents. This structure ensures a transparent and streamlined process for all financial and subscription-related activities.
